It’s a journey that connects you with both the heart of the South Island and the beauty of its coastal north.

Depart Christchurch in the morning and head towards the top of the South Island.
As we head northwest toward the Main Divide of the Southern Alps, you’ll be treated to sweeping mountain vistas and dramatic natural beauty.
Our route takes us through the stunning Lewis Pass, once used by Ngāi Tahu Māori to transport treasured Pounamu (greenstone) from the West Coast. Today, this area is a national reserve, well-loved by walkers, trampers, and hunters alike.
Along the way, you’ll pass by the Mauria Springs hot pools, the charming township of Murchison, crystal-clear freshwater streams, and untouched native beech forest. In winter, the journey is even more spectacular, with snow-covered peaks visible from the pass’s summit at 907 metres.

We like to keep it simple, all pricing is done per vehicle for the above stated travel time.
Trailer hire available for additional luggage requirements. This can hold up to 12 suitcases and costs $30 NZD per day.
