We start our journey at 07:00 so we get the best of the day 12 hour long tour.
Travelling through the Canter plans known for an abundance of sheep and cow farms. Huge wide open spaces, braded fresh water rivers to our first township of Ashburton. With no time to stop for the best is still to come.
>Geraldine: We only stop for a quick leg stretch with our next longer stop and refreshments to follow.
>Fairlie township: Known for its world famous Fairlie bakery pies, (Salmon and bacon pie, Pork belly pie with apple sauce and many more) fresh sandwiches and great expresso coffee.
>Lake Tekapo and our first stop at the church of the good shepherd, incredible turquoise coloured lake, fresh air and so much more. Your driver will take to our special viewing place.
>Lake Pukaki. We stop at the top of Lake Pukaki with the mountain view of Mount Cook 70km away and the crystal-clear hydro lake surrounded by the majestic south Alpes. We always stop at the Salmon Farm shop where you can purchase a 100gram tray of fresh sashimi for only $13.50.
>Aoraki Mount Cook transfer to the National Park is in the heart of the Southern Alps. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks and Mountain lakes. With a population of only 190 people. Stay at the Hermitage hotel overlooking New Zealand's highest mountain in New Zealand. Your personal, friendly, and local chauffeur / guide for your journey.
